I am running for the Board of Education to help my children, and all other children in our district, develop the skills and traits that will help them lead authentic and fulfilling lives. I want our children to learn to think critically and to develop the academic and social skills necessary to achieve their higher education goals and become leaders in their own lives and in their communities.

I will use the leadership and management skills I have developed as a Chief in the FDNY to benefit our community. I will actively listen to all residents’ concerns and will make sure every question receives a thorough and transparent answer from our administrators. I will enhance our evaluation methods to ensure that our district is making appropriate progress towards our collaborative goals and that our resources are effectively focused on delivering a high-quality core educational experience.
